Life Lesson # 3 – Two faced people

A two faced person could be a friend or a family member.

Anyone who talks to you behind someone else’s back and befriends that person at the same time will do the same thing to you behind your back.

They thrive on creating friction between people. Every day they have to think of something bad to talk about to someone else because this is what gets their adrenaline pumping.

Two faced people can not be trusted because all the do is make up lies at the expense of others just to get attention. Your life has to be pretty boring to want to hurt others so badly you would do this.

No one needs people like this in their life the drama is not worth it.

Toxic people

We have all known toxic people whether it be a friend, acquaintance, or a family member.

Toxic people need a victim and if their victim is no longer around they will reach out to the next person they are closest to.

You can not please a toxic person no matter how much you do for them it is never enough because they feel like everyone owes them something.

You have to have enough Self-Respect and Self-Love to understand that no one should be allowed to belittle, insult, shame or ridicule you.

The day you realize that this is Verbal Abuse you will wonder why it took you so long to see it. This is not a healthy relationship for anyone.

Everyone deserves to be treated with love, kindness, and respect.

There comes a time in your life you need to shut the door and slam it hard behind you.

That will be the day you can start healing and feel the calmness entering your life because you are now free of the abuse.

That is the day you will realize you are no longer a VICTIM.

Happy Thanksgiving | Sonya Lira Photography

Thanksgiving is the time of year we get together with family and friends laugh, tell bad jokes and eat until we are about to pop.

The great smell of food though out the house, every kind of desert one could imagine.

That look on a small child’s face as they grab a cookie and run and everyone knows the children are having a sugar rush.

I will eat a few of my favorite things without counting the carbs. Last year I skipped my favorite things but this year I will get a few bites of them. I have come too far in the last year to screw it up now.

This is the time of year we are thankful for everyone and everything in our lives and we are grateful for the time we have with each other.

May you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Drive safely and be careful.

The ups and downs of life

This quote hits close to home for me. I think we all need to re-evaluate the people we allow to be part of our lives.

Make sure the people in your life are there for the right reasons.

Relationships no matter if it is family or friends takes two people who are willing to be in the relationship for the right reasons. Make sure any relationship is a healthy one for you both.

When someone continually rubs stuff in your face it’s time to step back and see if they are really worth your time and effort.

Never let anyone drain you emotionally do not give them that control they are not worth it.

Tell it like it is

Being honest and truthful is hard for so many people. Many would rather tell a hundred lies than just tell the truth.

I think of myself as an honest person.

I say it like it is and I do not try to sugar coat anything a lot of people dislike this because they can not handle the truth.

I am thankful I am honest and truthful and can speak from my heart.

A breath of fresh air

When I started this blog it was for my photography. It has become so much more than that for me.

Along the way, it became a place that I could say what was on my mind or in my heart. As the words spill out onto the screen it is like a breath of fresh air. This blog became my outlet in more ways than one.

The blogging world is like this big group of people wanting their voice to be heard for many different reasons.

I am thankful for my blog and the many wonderful people I have gotten to know along the way. I look forward to your post, pictures, drawings and the many words you say each  and every day.
