Green frogs in the pond | Manvel, Texas Photographer

Our koi pond has a bog that filters the pond and keeps the water clear. From time to time you have to thin out the plants in the bog. With all the recent rains the plants are growing like crazy.

This Amercan Green Tree Frog was under a taro leaf on the stem just resting in the shade. I came in the house and grabbed my camera so I could get a few pictures of him.

He did not seem at all bothered by me he just chilled out and posed. It is such a great feeling when nature cooperates.

  1. Aren’t you lucky to have such colourful frogs. Our little wood frog is rather drab (though he does blend in well with the background). Always a treat to see one in the wild.
