Our backyard is about 1/2 acre and there is always something blooming.
The blooms left to right are variegated waterlily, lantana, sage, trumpet vine, knockout roses and wisteria. The wisteria is just randomly blooming right now it is not the time to bloom so it is a mystery as to why it is blooming.
It takes a lot of work to keep our yard from dying during our drought seasons but we managed this time to water these things enough. I could not get pictures of everything before it started to sprinkle. I have no idea how many blooming things we really do have I have lost count.
Finding plants that are native to your area is the best way to ensure the plants will do well.
We enjoy all the colors of the blooms year round because our winters are quite mild and sometimes we have no freeze at all.
