Andrew went on his mom and dads boat for the first time at 9 – months old. The first few years of his life he learned he loved fishing.
Three fishing poles later he has caught and reeled in quite a few fish for a four-year-old. He can tell you about the kinds of fish in the ocean vs the lake and rivers.Uncle Joshua bought him a spin reel and a new rod it is bigger than his other ones, but he loves it. Now he only uses it to fish with.

Since we had never done a portrait of just Andrew and his dad David (our son in law) we used fishing as the theme. They were dressed just alike in their Columbia fishing shirts and khaki shorts. Wade fishing at Surfside beach in Freeport, Texas. If you look closely you can see Andrews left hand holding the bottom of his dad’s shirt. I did not notice that until I edited the pictures. Often times it is the little things in a picture that can mean so much.
Children learn what you teach them and how much they can learn is up to you.
Happy Fathers Day to all you dads out there and have a great day.
Happy Fathers Day to my dad who is no longer with us. I want him to know I still think of him every day and I miss him dearly. I love you, Dad.
