Hummingbirds have always amazed me because they are so fast. We have plenty of hummingbird and butterfly plants in our yard, but we also put out hummingbird feeders just so we can watch them.
I normally try to sit within 8 feet or less of the feeders to try to capture these little birds. They zip in and out so fast sometimes it is quite hard to get a picture of them.
It is much better if there is some sunlight because then you can capture some of their beautiful iridescent coloring on the feathers.
These tiny little birds are everywhere in the trees and the bushes zipping in and out quite quickly. They are attracted to plants with bright color flowers. Keep your eyes opened and if you are lucky you might get to see a few of them in your yard.
