Neotropic Cormorant | Brazoria County Photographer

This was the first time I have seen a ” Neotropic Cormorant”. They are quite different looking from the cormorants I saw a few weeks ago.

I am not sure if more new birds are crossing my path or if I am noticing more birds.       Either way it is quite fun to identify the birds that I get to see and photograph.

His teal green eyes really stood out on his black speckled head and his feathers were outlined as if they had been hand painted with fine detail.

Nature is full of exciting new things we just have to pay attention to what is in front of us.

  1. Like the use of this line, “outlined as if they had been hand painted with fine detail.” The more you look for birds the more you will notice them and their beautiful details. There are always magnificent birds around even in the city.
