The knockout roses bloom all year-long and they are not prone to diseases like many of the other roses are.
In this bed is 5 of the knockouts in light pink, yellow, and a dark pink. I have them planted in a raised bed that is square and there is a rose in every corner and one in the middle. When I trim them I keep the middle one a little bit taller than the rest. I trim them back a few times a year so that they will bush out more and be less leggy.
When they are all in full bloom it is amazing. The only bad thing about a raised bed is they dry out much faster so I have to water them quite a bit in the summertime.
Sometimes you run across one flower that just seems so perfect and yesterday that was this pink rose.
