Feathers in the morning light | Texas Photographer

I think this is the same juvenile mockingbird I saw the other day. He seems to like it here.I can hear him whistling more and more every day. He whistles so  pretty.

A little after sunrise this morning I saw him at the bird feeder. I grabbed my camera to get  a few pictures of him. In the second image, the wind was blowing and his feathers looked so funny. The birds around here are not bashful at all they seem to pose for my camera.

In the early morning hours, the birds whistle to welcome a new day. Sometimes you just have to take the time to listen and enjoy what nature has to say.
