Our eyes are a way to capture part of our soul. If we do not focus on the eyes when taking pictures of people or animals then the eyes look dark and lifeless.
This picture of this Southdown Ram was captured on an overcast day. I shot this using my Canon 100 mm. 2.8 L Macro Lens.This is one of my favorite lenses. This was natural light no flash was used.
The sheep’s eye and the focus in this picture makes this shot work. The reflection in his eye is the fence that was in front of him.
Take the time to focus on the eyes, and you will see your pictures start to jump out at you.
